Age old question... I'm still non the wiser.

I have a 1972 CB750 K2 UK spec and I'm ready for paint.... Red paint please can you advise if Candy Ruby Red is correct for this model? Fancy changing to another Flake colour but I guess I should keep it correct. Any help appreciated.

For U.S, the K2 colors were

Brier Brown Metallic
Flake Sunrise Orange
Candy Gold

Not sure if UK was different?   The US K1 had Candy Ruby Red.

Interesting Steve I love the orange but I don't think UK had that. I'm guessing it's the red you mentioned...Candy Ruby Red seems to be the goto colour for UK.

I saw a stock CB750 K2 in red candy many years ago (1979)
But it was model year 1975, the last year K2 was delivered to Sweden.
It looked really good!

K6 came next.

 I'm a fan of the Gold or Orange but my personal favorite was a 71 I had painted in 2013 honda accord tiger eye pearl brown with k2 gold, black and pearl white stripes. I intend to paint another one like that some day. Mine will be a hot rod bike so originality is not a factor.
