George here is a pic of one of my set. They have the RCENG 12 point rod bolts. And are stamped V3 and centre popped for each cyl. On the other side they are stamped R C.

Those SPS bolts are original and from what I can tell we’re on the earlier versions of the golden rods.  Yours are not square edged at the bottom head area, so they are not the first generation either.

Yours are pretty much the best ones to have IMHO.

Yes those are some of the first golden rods made.  I have a set and sent them to RC jr to see if they could be used in the restoration.  They checked out fine but the weight was too far off from the later rods to use.  I got a nice letter back with them from jr saying RC Sr confirmed they are some of the earliest rods they produced verified by the weight and by those bolts.
