Dick Mann
« on: April 28, 2021, 08:05:30 AM »
When I first became interested in motorcycles and then racing, Dick Mann was one of my heros. This was in the days of AMA Grand National Championships series where racers competed in more than road racing. In this short interview from 99 Dick explains some of it all. I'll try to add it here.

RIP Dick (Bugsy) He was one of the good guys.

Pretty cool. I have read that Kenny was very fond of Dick. I met Mr. Mann (well more like said hi) at a race in Laconia! He was very gracious.

In his later years Bugsy remained competitive in Vintage Trials...............I sold him a rear-brake and hub assembly for a TRIUMPH CUB about 10 years ago when he visited Road America in Wisconsin for an AHRMA event. He also helped layout vintage MX courses for AHRMA. RIP Mr. Mann :) :) :)
