 A low mile K0 mostly original 750 brought some $$ I forget $50K+?  Sandcast at $25K?

I've been checking out the website and scrolling through the completed sale results. Saw a K1 and a K2 on day 2 make over $14,000  :o.  Some of the Honda and other brand 'little' bikes are really selling for some real money. Certain Moto X bikes are doing quite well also. More to add on the hunt list  :D :D

Wow. Just wow. Mecum seems to attracts buyers who aren't willing to do the hunting for real deals out there but rather pay inflated prices.

Those 2 were pretty impressive/surprising prices- though both nice original machines. Also there's been a couple of 350fs make 11-12k, again both nice bikes. Some 500s/550s were in the 4-5k region, other 750s have been around  12k-14k with one nice restored sandcast making 33k. No 400Fs at all.  Other non- sohcs of interest were a Kawa z1000 that went cheap, nobody seemed to notice it had a Rickman frame. A CBX1000 made over 30k, and a VFR750 made something like 12k. Hayabusa pushing 10k too- future classic there. The Brit bikes and Harleys seem pretty cheap generally. I will of course be bidding on the Black Lightning today, if it stays under 10k I'm in with a chance.

Kaw Z1's were doing quite well with a couple of 1975's doing 24 and 20+k and a first year 73 garnering $36,300. I urge members to sign up at Mecums so you can see the actual sales results of this and all their other auctions both cars and bikes. Very interesting stuff and maybe rewarding if you can break into that market.

Yes it's well worth registering, and very easy too. Watching the videocast live was interesting too for a while, they certainly take their time dropping the hammer on the high value bikes, it would be interesting to attend and see the audience too.  Agree about the Z1s, they went well, and another Hayabusa made $20k, I guess the classic market is moving forward too.
