I hope I'm posting this in the right place. I just finished building this bike for my first official client. He saw the one I built for myself (I posted it here
http://forums.sohc4.net/index.php/topic,185151.0.html) and reached out to me to build him one. It's been a crazy ride and I'm very excited to share it with the rest of the community.
The client's only requirement was for the bike to be a 1977, cafe racer style. I found this CB750K with a strong engine and good compression, but it needed a lot of work. For the sake of keeping this short, I'll explain only the most important changes I've done.

After putting it on the lift, I pulled out the engine, wheels and forks and started a thorough process of sandblasting and cleaning. After that, I painted everything.
I rebuilt the forks and lowered them 5cm, and installed new rear 321mm shocks. I did frame mods, clean-up and welding after fabricating the rear hoop with LED slot. Rebuilt brakes, installed new bearings, cognito top clamp with Motogadget motoscope mini, new controls and bars, new grips etc. New chain, 4 into 1 kerker with a 12" shortie muffler, wrapped.
I got rid of that ugly ass gas tank and got a Supersport one with new side covers. I fabricated the cowl and seat pan, and painted everything. Originally, the client wanted all matte black, but I told him it would be too much, since everything else on the bike was black. I came up with a design to break up all that black and he loved it, so I went back to my paint booth to do all the tins and frame. Once I was done painting (painting matte is a PITA btw), I made the seat.
After that I started putting everything back together, clean up the wire harness, replaced connectors, etc. Once the engine was in, adjusted timing, sync carbs and did all the final touches.

I hope you all liked this build. I'm very happy with the result and so is my first client. A lot of things were new to me, like painting, but I've learned a lot and I'm looking forward for my next project. I already started painting my shovelhead!!
