I’m sure “754” will respond regarding the way to repair the missing shock stud..... the acorn nut that usually screws on is just for keeping the shock from sliding off the larger shaft portion. If you drill and tap it, you can screw in a new stud.
His second comment is regarding the left front engine mount. If you look closely at any other SOHC Honda cb750K, you will notice a lug welded to the frame there. ONLY on the 1977 cb750K are there two sleeves for bolts. A separate engine mount (two pieces) bolts on there. The engine attaches to it. I’ve never seen an explanation, but it’s unique to the 1977 K7. Did you get the mount??
