72-76 by the small sidecovers. Also not great on Kawis but I definitely lusted after one back then.

First year 73's Z1 did have a black engine but hard to tell a lot from the fuzzy pic. No matter if its a 73,74 or 75 you had better grab it up quick ! They are in big demand right now no matter what the condition is.
Serial number would help if you can get it.

I hope you wiped all of your prints off the shotgun!
Good score.

Soaking in PB now.
One of the plugs I pulled had rust on the inside of the plugs. That's a new one. Shockingly the carbs are free as well as the throttle cable.
Tank is toast. Upper fork tubes toast but the rest looks like it's come back with alotta elbow grease, wire wheels etc. Looks like somebody broke a sparkplug off even on number four. That'd be fun.

Great find
Of course the restoration will end up costing a lot with a lot of elbow grease but it could be very rewarding,

I’ll give you 2 grand for it! ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)
