Tires from REVCO.ca in Quebec. 2-3 day delivery to Ontario and excellent pricing.

Update: the Continental tire I needed for the Varadero arrived in a few days. Free delivery and the price was almost 10% less than the usual vendors I use in Ontario!

Shipping a bike across Canada, or heavy box of parts? Check out Hasslefreeshipping.ca. Henry and his wife (or daughter) drive back and forth across the country, doing private deliveries. 1/2 the price of anyone else. He has his own schedule, so best to not be a RUSH shipment.

I ordered chain and sprockets for the Honda Varadero and a cb750 chain fom REVCO.ca I the past few days. $10 delivery charge and prices significantly lower then my usual sources. Need to remember to check them out more frequently.

Gumto seat covers, I believe the pattern is sewn in the seat, not "bonded" as the original is. Cliff.

Today I spoke with Lyle Griffin, in the parts dept. of Schrader Honda in Yorkton, SK, Canada. (306)783-3333. He builds his own bikes, attached is a photo of his “off-road Ascot”. They have been open since the early 70’s and have lots of NOS parts! Very helpful, he had the emblems I needed for my K6 that are NLA from Honda! Check them out.

Ordered another zero maintenance battery for this project from Kapscomoto.com

At  $54 and free shipping via Canada Post, these seem to be a great deal. I’ve had one in my K1 for +4 years now. Don’t buy anything else from them but these.
