Prototype tach delete plug
« on: May 14, 2021, 07:53:31 AM »
I wouldn't want to delete my tach...but I'm assembling and engine to test and run without the tach drive in place so I made this to cover the hole.  I say prototype because there wasn't much thought put into the design before cutting.  The idea for the clamp came after the grooves were cut so the sizing needs some correction.
I was feeling clever, what would you do to improve it?

No, I don't have plans to sell these, but if someone needs one to plug the hole while looking for the parts to fix it right, that could be arranged.

+1. Currently have an open hole after the OEM cover turned to mush.  I would buy that in a second.  Looks great.

Send me a message with your address,  I'll let you be the guinea pig for the design improvements.
