Drain plug tube adapter cheap and easy.

Figured I’d just throw this out there, not sure if anybody’s done it before or talked about it. But you know those little balloon filler adapters that come with your compressor kits with the needles for balls and all that?  Without damaging threads, they seal up pretty nicely when screwed into carburetor drain bowls and fork tube drain.  I recommend running over them with a die first.  3/8  tube fits nicely on the other side. I keep two of them around for the fork tubes and to do each pair Of the carburetors for float height adjustment.

yep, good tip.  I use something very similar that I snagged out of a vacuum pump/brake bleeder kit.  Been trying to convince people that clear tube float bowl checks are this simple for years.  Even though my rig has never leaked a drop, it seems like people think if a single drop of gasoline escapes it's proper places they might burst into a fiery ball of death explosion.
If it works good, it looks good...
