I don't like to racially vilify anyone from any particular country Frank, I like to think I'm a universal racist, but this guy was Greek, and in my limited experience (Melbourne has the largest Greek population outside of Athens) Greeks will ALWAYS try to lowball you.

The most embarrassing thing I've seen was an old Greek woman at the checkout at Aldi, holding up the line while trying to haggle the price of her groceries with the checkout chick. And two bikes I've bought recently from a Greek guy have both been POS, with lots of missing parts that were pictured in his for sale ad on FB, but I never received? WTF? It takes all kinds, I guess. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

"Crazy is a very misunderstood term, it's a fine line that some of us can lean over and still keep our balance" (thanks RB550Four)

My most recent bailout buyer now has the same model listed for sale. I guess he needs to sell his bike to buy a parts bike for it. Maybe the same guy that sold his car for gas money.

How not to sell a bike...  Take pictures in the dark, that are blurry, or post pics from 10 years ago
No lowballs, I know what I have
Don't leave contact info
Don't post a price
No matter how fast or how far I rode, I couldn't leave her memory behind.

Ask the blue book price for a non-running bike.

I always like to figure out average yearly mileage on bikes with low mileage like this. Figure 2000 miles over 20 years is only a hundred miles a year, why even own it?  But then again my 750 sat in the shed for 10 years, and my 650 was parked for 12 or 13 years.
