I feel ya pain Terance. The airbox to carby manifolds on the RD350lc require the finger strength of an Olympic weight lifter. The dexterity  of an Olympic gymnast and the patience of a centre link customer.

What, there are no Olympic dole bludgers Ken? I was enjoying that Olympic theme too....... ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Hehe, I couldn't figure the Olympic centre  linker.

Apart from the Olympic medalists , the rest are on government grants .

Yeah, I thought that most Olympians are pretty much permanent dole bludgers until they win a gold medal and start selling breakfast cereals, or methamphetamine...... ;D

I'm a bit different. I prefer to drink on my own most of the time.  I win almost 50% of the arguments.

Ha ha, very true! I've only just finally kicked the anti-depressants that a stupid biatch female doctor prescribed me (for sleep, I don't know what the opposite of depression is, but that's what I've got...) but this sh1t was messing with me bad, and you can't go "Cold Turkey", you have to be weaned off it, or else you start scratching like a heroin addict, get the shakes, cold sweats, confusion, etc, etc.

I know, because I took her advice and stopped taking it, and I wouldn't have looked out of place in a Centerlink queue in most capital cities. I spoke to my regular doctor and he sh1t his pants and put me on a much slower "weaning off" program. I did have some interesting dreams though...... ;D

Quick web search yields:
dole bludger (plural dole bludgers) (Australia, New Zealand, derogatory, slang) An unemployed person who has no intention of seeking a job, and survives on government-funded unemployment benefits.

Thanks guys, I'm waiting nervously for the T500 to be delivered, so I can rat thru the tub of parts to see what I need, strip the "Rolling chassis", then put the parts in a couple of Spotty's tubs, and decide which frame will be the one that I use.

Yep, we have plenty of Dole Bludgers here, folks who for some reason think that they don't have to work, that the world owes them a living, so they sit around at home all day playing on the internet and getting money for nothing. Hmmnn, maybe I AM a dole bludger? ;D

not to hi jack Terry but to relay info that the dole bludger mentality is passed on through generations, its a fact that entire families have never worked a day in their miserable lives through three generations and are in fact encouraged by their parents to not seek employment but to take what they are "entitled to"its a shame that mentality is endorsed and i feel saddened whole heartedly that these peasants would i bet run and not defend our country.

With you on the Suzuki kick and me on this Z1 and others here with cool projects we should lobby for a “other bikes of the month/quarter/year” sort of award. Maybe per quarter so we don’t run out.
This is a great forum.

Thanks guys, and yes, this is a great forum. I'm not a "Bike of the month" fan though, I build bikes that I want to ride, so don't budget for lashings of chrome and expensive paint jobs, "Chrome won't get you home". Each to their own though, and like many members here, as much as we love our SOHC4's, we like to play with other bikes too, so maybe there should be a "Non SOHC4 BOTM/Q/Y". ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

Nice looking 1971 t350 with 6k miles in the land of plenty here in Michigan. Cool color. Just don't like the $3200.00 price tag. https://nmi.craigslist.org/mcy/d/honor-1971-suzuki-350-twin/7361332173.html

I’m not a fan of the squared off styling Eric, but it’s otherwise a nice survivor. It’d be at least twice that much here, maybe more, as the’re a lot rarer than the T500/250 because they never made a GT350. ;D
