What the hell does this button do?
« on: April 17, 2021, 09:29:33 AM »
I have no idea what this button is for.  I've pressed it and nothing happens, and I've never seen it on another bike.  But I haven't really seen too many others in my area so it aint sayin' much.

Turns off the turn signal beeper, lol...did you even know your bike had a turn signal beeper?  Or likely been removed/disconnected.  That button was on K2 model bikes only.  You may be confused about what model bike you have or it may have been swapped.  1972 production date should be K2 or K3.
If it works good, it looks good...

Yeah, I had 750 FOUR in my head when I typed that.  I think my first mod to the bike was removing that damn buzzer.  I guess now I can remove the button and all the wires, too.  Thanks for the info!

I like my beeper!
And the button, too. It still works! The K3 made before about January, 1973 also had them.

Mine did not come with that button, but I have retrofitted one for another reason: a Hi- Beam flasher.

There's a good idea: use the TurnBeeperOff button to toggle a relay to make the headlight go HI.
But, there's days when I'd like mine to be hooked up to a Gatling, pointed at the tires behind me...
