A lot of sellers send it though thu hub in Kansas. I forget the name.
And it gets processed there, and then you oay them fir brokerage, duty.. if it gets applied.
My guestion is .. what kind of up charges are there, and how much time to deliver ..?
My last buy, i  got a quote for shipping through ebay calculator , and it was around 20 bucks.. quite reasonable.
So then I asked seller if there was upcharges on thar and they did not know, in fact said they dant even see tge shipping figure.
So i had a quick look online, learned it is not a quick method , and lots of grumbling..
So anyone used it, pleasecreport how it went.,

I’ve had some charges that were pretty steep from EBay. Now I only buy stuff from vendors that use US Post. Rarely get charged duty or taxes if the item is less than $100.

Cheaper for the seller to ship direct to buyer. Global Shipping has additional shipping charges. eBay has better protections for seller shipping international. EBay handles customs, etc. for this type of shipment method, and although not the cheapest, it better protects the seller, and yes, the seller has no idea what those extra charges might be. Kentucky is the hub, then it gets handed off to secondary ship methods which eBay oversees. So with that in mind, there might be a delay in estimated delivery. Most buyers don’t like it, but the seller does. Extra handling charges are based on weight and dimensions. Could add up in addition to any other handling fees.
This is from a fellow I know who ships 50 states and internationally.

Do you have a idea of extra charges ? is it a set fee like 10.00 to broker, or a percentage L plus handling, is that another add on.
I was quoted lets say 21.00....I assume that was shipping, but could not determine, how much additional cost is involved.. or how long it takes.
If anyone  has a breakdown  of their transaction it would help.. i realize the percentages may vary..

According to my eBay seller, when an item ships global, even the buyer has no idea what the second party charges will be. In some cases, you could spend well over the value of the shipped item in additional shipping/handling fees....it can be an angry surprise. Once it arrives at say Kentucky hub, you’re then blackmailed with these extra charges. He doesn’t know of a way to intercept the item to learn of those new secondary charges. His answer to cost of secondary charges was based on weight and dimensions determined by that same secondary party. No doubt eBay is profiting for this service.

Mr. Mike: are you serious? Do you really think eBay would make extra $ for this service? wink, wink,
