CR31 Update

Old Scrambler popped in. We've been playing. Final, probably, results are in after extensive and exhaustive "conversation".

Elevation: 6900'. 915 CycleX kit. 125/75 cam. JMR Stage 4 head. Pods (big). Kerker with comp baffle

I am totally surprised at the first result!!

Stock Keihin mains at 105! (dropped 2 sizes)
Needles in middle position (raised 1 notch)
62 slow jets (increased 1 size)
Air screws at 3/4 turn

On to tuning the Mikuni RS's and it's a damn good start. And my primaries are not rattling. My cam chain is also new. And the carbs are in sync. Dennis' RS's must have metal slides. He has never heard the RS clackers before LOL

Jerry lives on the upper EDGE...........of town ;)  He has 45-mph streets and I never saw a squad car :) The conversation was extended to explain how to blend the transition from slow to GO ;D I try to get the jets sorted before I play with the needles ;)

The blue 915-kitted bike is FAST and feels good all around except for the strong throttle spring.  The orange bike with the 1000+cc kit is a very easy bike to ride but will lift the front-end when the new jets are installed and larger ID intakes are obtained. Jerry has two go-fast sleepers and he has taught himself to be quite the mechanic 8)
