Whenever you feel like selling the H1, do what I do with my H1A.  Clean the seat with furniture polish until it's nice & shiny, go for a ride, and whack open the throttle.  As your arse slides back, you'll suddenly remember why it can't be sold!

By the way, $14500 was not "too much" for a nicely restored H1.  Lots of dickheads out there...

People want your stuff for 1/2 or less than asking often…don’t even respond to low ballers…unless in person and stepping on their balls is the appropriate response. Tell them low ballers get kicked in the nuts…

There aren't many buyers who will recognize a Nicely Restored vintage bike using all OEM parts and done complete.

Hilarious!  Rode my H1E the other day, what a blast! [seat not cleaned with polish!]

You had to wash your underwear after the ride?
I'm rather sure that something stronger than polish was needed!  ;D

Sometimes selling on line works. Recent sale on EBAY. Buyer is a really nice guy, lives south of Indianapolis. Initially a bit shocked by carrier rates to ship bike from Ontario, Canada to his home. We shopped around (TFX International by far the best price). Some quotes were 2 X higher than others!

I offered to deliver the bike to their terminal in Toronto (I’m 70 miles away, but my son lives close by there, and he wants a steel bench I have for his new workshop). That knocked about 30% off the “freight” portion of the bill. TFX requires no prep or packaging, so no big deal. He’s done the paperwork, so just waiting for a time slot.

Decent people, good results......
