I had the same problem with my CBX. The grips are a tad too loose. My solution was to wind silver duct tape around the bars, just enough to take up the slack, then a smear of Araldite epoxy. Rock solid now.

looks like you can still buy em,i got these on the yammy and something similar on the honda,nice thin with diamond no waffle.

Stev-o,I like those original Italian grips quite a bit too.I wanted the originals,Made in Italy about 8 years ago and all I could get were some light blue ones:they didn't look 'cool' on a 350 I had but I sure love how they feel when you 'get a grip'

I've been using PB Blaster on the grips since I figured out that it gets sticky when it dries. I spray some into the grip and it slides on really easy. Once it dries they're stuck on good but I can still pull them off with a blast of air.

I have the Randakk grips on my GL. To me they feel like the euro grips but are softer. solvents will dissolve them however so be careful what adhesive you use. https://www.randakks.com/randakk-s-gen-ii-amazing-grips.html

Don,Do they hold tight to the bars;how do they feel when riding ?

They are soft and stay on pretty well, they feel fat in the middle although don't appear that way and they're easy to keep ahold of without re-gripping a lot. Before my hand surgery for trigger finger I cramped up really bad and these helped a lot with that. I use the cruise control latch less often these days.
I used to run the chrome and foam grips because they came on the GL and were large OD but they fell apart and off often.

I had the left one sliding around so I cleaned it inside and used brakeclean on the chrome then some old really sticky weatherstrip adhesive on both sides. It may be permanent now but I'm going to the drag strip and can't have it coming loose.
Will report results later.

I just took off those Italian GT grips and replaced them with the Progrip 714s. The GTs felt a little to fat to me with gloves on.

I use WD40. They slide right on, and seem to tack underneath and don’t move around at all.

The OURY soft rubber grips give me some shock/vibration resistance,only thing seemed to hold them on is that designated Grip Cement.I would try something like weatherstrip cement:put the weatherstrip cement then install the grip right away before it has time to set-up.
