I failed to glean exactly what your oiling issues are for the engine.  Are you not getting oil to the cam bearings up top. ?? I'm sure you're aware of the path the oil flows in the kz engine. I'd start by removing the oil plug in the galley on the top case and then work from that point to the oil send.ing unit housing to verify no obstructions. Just unbolt it and look at the passages fror trash or anything stopping the flow of oil.. From there i would confirm the oil holess near the studs are free. I would also determine if the oil passages on the cylinder itself are unobstructed. Gasket sealer can somes restrict fliw to the head. I don't know if this is a stock head or not. I would then concentrate on the outside holes on the head where the oil goes into the cavity feeding the cams. That galley crosses through the head between the exhaust and
 intake side. Oil drains back out through the cam chain tunnel. And don't neglect looking at your oil filter bolt. There a check valve inside of it as well that could impact pressure.

Thank you, the galleries have been visually checked and air checked. I've even puffed air up from the oil filter outlet and used a feather to verify air puffing out of oiling holes and the cam bearings.
I'll update when I finish assembling it.

Would be nice if you have a pair of low-quality/used camshafts and rockers to install,just for test purposes,to see if they get a bunch of good oil flow?
You can save your NOS cams until after this is sorted..

Life happens, are you enjoying life? If not, how can you correct things to return some enjoyment? Being purposeful can sometimes help but too easy to let life fill your day with meaningless stuff and drift from one to the next. Sometimes depression robs you of motivation, and sometimes you can not enjoy the projects because other higher priority more important things take all you time or energy.
Not trying to be a PITA by asking, just curious... Maybe he is out exploring in his Honda Acty and enjoying the new toy...
