engine painting
« on: July 05, 2021, 03:23:17 AM »
my appologies for asking this in what is probably the wrong forum section. Im after any info on how and what type of paint and methods for painting a 750 motor, Im sure this has been covered multiple times but I cant find any info on the search function. Any advice or leads to posts greatly appreciated. The motor is currently fully stripped.

CLEAN, CLEAN, CLEAN IT! On a K engine I have used Duplicolour engine enamel, #1615, with good success without a primer. It's lasted over 10 years on my first project. On an F motor I have used VHT caliper paint in satin black with good results and compliments. The blue one is a more recent project. Cliff.
