Hello Everybody!
I just finished mounting my front tire (which all of the local tire shops refused to do because 1: They don't do motorcycles, 2: They don't mount tires unless they sell them, 3: They won't mount a tubeless tire with a tube, and, my favorite excuse, front a tire shop 70-some years old, 4: "We don't like doing tube tires, because they're hard").
And as I finished the little endeavor and was wiping another pint of my blood off my bike and tools, thanking Christ Almighty, it dawned on me that no one ever really thanks all the people on this forum. This is my first bike. This is my first 'antique' vehicle with carbs and digital nothing. This is my first big 'guy' project. And as many times as I almost quit, I always found the answers to my current problems on here, and have learned a rediculous amount of shop tips that might have taken me another 20 years of trial and error to figure out myself. I never changed a tire before, replaced wheel bearings, spoked and trued a wheel, but this website got me through relatively unscathed.
So, with that being said, Cheers! Thanks to all you fellows who make a project like this doable for us average joes!
