How do you remove a broken cotter pin? CB750K

I broke both ends off this rusty cotter pin on the choke linkage and now I can't get it out. I don't want to damage it!

Let it soak in WD40 for a while and pick out the residues with a sharp thin pin.

 Might even want to try a drop or two of CLR or toilet bowl cleaner if the metal is compatible to work on the rust a little before you gently try to drive it out. Some heat works well also for moving metal a little bit to help break loose things.
  What carbs are we talking about 750 round tops ?

Yes, and it's the pin that holds the choke linkage to one of the arms. Thanks for the suggestions!

A few heat cycles may help loosen it, I'd use a soldering iron not a torch.
