My Suzuki is a DL650XA...

Your bike is a very nice looking bike...I could never fold myself up into the position to ride yours...

I've been riding this one for about 12000km so far, some oil leaks, small issues as usual with an old bike.
My son borrowed it last year and hit a pretty big rabbit at speed and lower radiator and fairing took a hit. Radiator not a problem but OEM fairings are no longer available.

For this summer I invested in Pirelli Diablo Rosso Corsa II rubber, Brembo front brake discs and pads, and a few other small bits and bobs.
Now I need to get of rid this endless flu to finish what I started. Been sick for close to a week now.

Plenty aftermarket available, mostly racing versions or cheap chinese knock off's.

The stock lower fairings:are both halves broken beyond repair ?
I have heard of individuals doing wonderful repair work to Sportbike ABS fairings.

Left lower is in smithereens and several small pieces missing.

Too bad you don't have access to a 3d scanner. You take the good portion to give you a mirror part. Scanned them mirror imaged in 3D printer. Print object with 3D printer using ABS filament. And then mate to better side and reattach and a bit of filler to smooth, sand and refinish.
The resolution of newer 3D printers is getting higher allowing for very smooth parts.

I'll get some fiberglass sides and have them painted. That would serve the track day use as well. Cheap and easy to fix when I tumble

Had a blast with this bike last summer and have worked on it every winter to sort the small stuff wrong with it.
Last year I replaced the front cylinder exhaust side tappets, both were cracked as they usually are in these bikes.
Also replaced the cam chains just in case and some other small stuff, like intake manifold o-rings etc.

Plan for this winter is to get rid of the annoying clutch basket vibration between 3-4K and replace the front brake caliper pistons (some of the previous owners was pretty violent with them...), brake lines, get some decent bolt on silencers and have the fuel injection tuned properly. Oh yeah and still have the issue with fairings but I now know where to get good ones.

I was on my F2 years ago and ended up at a stoplight alongside a TL.
The light turned green and it disappeared fairly rapidly.

It sounded deep and soulful but ungodly loud.
