For real me too.  Me and my buddy thought about going to his last show, which was nearby in Indiana.  But we cheaped out on the $30 tickets!  If we could have only known.

RIP Dusty.

I've seen "The Top" a few times, the last being May '19, great show at the COTA F1 track.

We were real close, my sister in law had a line on great [free] seats for us...

I'm reminded of a trip in our 40 Chevy when I had a ZZ top tape playing and the instant I entered LaGrange Mo. the tape began playing LaGrange. I almost expected to see the guys along the road giving me the ZZ top hand wave. He will be missed, the music is his legacy.

I started to listen at them 1975 when I bought their vinyle Fandango. The earlier albums (and later) played at bike meets I rode to from late 70's.

I saw them in Stockholm 1986 , the Afterburner tour. A friend arranged a bus trip from my town to Stockholm. A bad old ugly bus we could use as a  party bus, he knew a guy with bus driving licence.

Paid my friend for bus and ticket.
We drank too much on the bus where we (20-25 pers) had a 1 1/2 hour party.
Plus pee pauses beside the road;D
I remember that I asked my friends beside me about 6 persons on stage.
I blocked one eye and my sight corrected, 3 guys! ;D

We are getting older and read about more people passing by. I have lost too many colleagues in ages 50 to 60+.

As long as we can read about them passing by, we are good.
