Picked this up on eBay for a few bucks and thought I’d share it. Wish I had that hair!

Brown leather was acceptable and cool back then but black meant you might be a beatnik, rebel or part of a gang !  ;D

Not new. The CB500(K0) was launched in 1971, the K1 in 1972 and the K2-A in 1973.
In Europe it was different. The model K2 [-ED, -F, -G] aka CB500K2 GENERAL EXPORT, a model that differed from the K2-A, but had a lot in common with the CB550K2, was traded in 1976-1977.
The much different CB500K3 model, very similar to the CB550K3, was traded in some continental European countries in 1978. With some 4200 in total it was a pretty limited edition.

I like they way they used forced perspective and wide-angle to make the bikes looks bigger.
Or were people smaller back in the '70's?  ;D

Reminders about good old days!! ;D
But I was not allowed to ride a bigger bike than 125cc until late -78. Spring -79 was a new happy era!!

Not strange we like our good old bikes! They really look good on those posters.!! ;D

I'd always heard how well liked and preferred the 400F was/is overseas.
Those honda brochures were hard to ignore as a guy in his teens back in the day....

A friend was really surprised when he tested a CB400 when his X and daughters mother had bought a very good looking CB400.

He noticed how well and fast it ran when he let it rev a lot. Nice screaming sound too.

I'm afraid David Silver bought them all. A friend of mine looks for a new owner for his (parakeet yellow).
