I’m not a Ford historian, but the way I have heard it is that Henry’s reluctance to give up on the Tin Lizzie Model T was hurting the company. His own son Edsel was behind the Model A.
I didn’t see any for sale signs at the the show. I didn’t chat with the owners about market prices. I don’t have a pole barn, trailer, motor home, etc. that many/most of the owners do, or the space to store any of this. If I pushed most everything else out I might fit a Model A in the garage. I didn’t see a motorcycle either, but there will be plenty at Stockbridge on Sunday afternoon.
The Village offers Model T rides and I have ridden in many of their cars. They are not replicas, they are originals, and there are newer cars created from saved parts. They village/museum is offering employment and I could get a job as a driver.
