Hello from Norway!
« on: September 24, 2021, 07:30:12 AM »
Good day all! I'm living in Bergen Norway and have an old Dresda road racer with a 500 four. It was one of three or so bikes built in 72 by Dave Degens for road racing in the UK. It was later retired from racing and had plates put on it for road use. I'm a motor builder, fabricator, do it all kinda guy. I've never built a Honda motor before...I have a good bit of parts that I got with the bike like cams and a ported head, hi comp pistons . I won't ramble too much. I'll likely start some sort of build thread to get some help with questions...which I will have many!

Welcome aboard from New Hampshire. Sounds like an interesting bike you have with its history and parts for it.
I have a friend in San Diego that has built many 500/550 into 650+ race motors. They are a fun platform to ride.

Thanks gents. I'll start a thread soon on the bike, but will first just ask some more specific questions to get me rolling. I grew up in central Texas , 35 years, then moved abroad.
