Topic: Aftermarket or different headlight ears for 82 CB650SC?

I've been looking at some minor updates to this bike. Both front and rear turn signals stick out like sore thumbs. I want to start with the fronts. They currently mount on the headlight ears, which suspend the headlight to the fork uppers.

Wondering if folks can help source two parts:
1. Aftermarket or other-model headlight ears that will fit 37mm forks and do not have that gigantic turn signal mounting point like the OEM units
2. Front turn signal replacement alternatives. The end goal is lower-profile than the OEM, so LEDs are the likely route. I'd replace the rears at the same time if needed and get an electronic relay to make sure it all works.

The ears are the most important bit, as there are probably a million LED options out there. Just need to find ears that actually fit the bike.

Look for some that clamp to the tubes instead of clamping between the trees

The trick is finding a set that fit the 37mm tubes well.  I bought a nice looking set off ebay that claimed to fit,  but lacked the proper shims to work well.  Ended up cutting my own from neoprene sheet stock, what a pain, good luck.

Gonna do a crude center-to-center length measurement of the originals to see if if they're close to the 115mm of these units. If I go with these then I just need to find some nice low profile signals to round the whole thing out.
