Oh I really do not think I got that weber manifold for my 60 pan (1080, did you end up with a Weber Harley manifold by chance?) You will have to refresh my memory on that one..

I swapped a Weber manifold with Frank for a K7 caliper; he was going to pass it on to a friend, IIRC. This would have been in early 2011, before the start of the first Godzilla relay. Later, after the lizard had made it to BC, Frank emailed me some pics taken at Roger's shop, as he was having trouble posting them on the forums. I didn't post them before, as he wasn't in them, but since you mentioned Roger I thought I would.
Does anyone else remember Frank's "Help send a fat kid to Camp Bonneville" sale thread?

And of course, there was the "Dickshunary".

I woke up to seeing a post about Frank on Instagram by Roger Goldamer. I'm so sorry to hear about his passing. He has been such a huge help to myself and to so many others over the years. I got to meet him in real life after first meeting him online here a decade earlier! I got to visit his shop, and have a pingel adapter machined for my bike made by Frank, and had been planning to order up a frame kit this winter. My condolences to his family and friends, I'll miss ya Frank sorry I have an un replied message from you in my inbox, I'm not here as much as I used to be.

RIP Frank.
Some members who have been here a long time and post a lot become the personality of this forum. Frank and a few others are definitely that. I would often check the posts that 754 commented on because I knew it was going to be informed advice and conversation. I can't get the image of his snow covered CB750 out of my head and the toughness it took to ride it in the winter. Frank was passionate and knowledgeable about motorcycles, machining and life. I will miss him.

Skull fracture from bicycle accident and I would imagine an aneurysm from that...but not certain.
He wasn't wearing a helmet when he took a spill on the bicycle.

Frank mentioned recently that it had been a year since his last motorcycle ride.
And he remarked that things would be better in 2022

A year with no seat time
No whining
No complaining
Looking to a brighter future

Frank is younger than I thought. The common age for retirement.
All photos here show a friendly man.
I know him in threads here and 3 packages he sent to me.
Nobody can fill the gap after him. He was always on duty here as a good support guy with knowledge about so much.
A reminder about how fragile we are and we need to enjoy while we can.
Common small accidents can end up really bad.

I spotted this thread last week and had to reread it several times to be sure I understood what I was seeing. To me Frank was a larger than life character, of course very knowledgeable about out beloved Hondas, but possessing a terrific attitude to life. I always thought that if he was missing a part for a rebuild, he would as soon go out to his shop and make one rather than buy one. While sad at his passing, I am delighted to see that he had twins, kids who hopefully have inherited some of his "live life to the fullest" attitude.

As his obituary says he "didn’t want to live by anybody else’s rules" . . I wish there were more like him.
