Is that the Tampa bridge? I used to drive my mom down to Ruskin to spend her winters there then fly back down in the spring and drive her back in the 2000-2008 years.
I rode my 76 750 there in 1979 after going to Daytona to visit old family friends that were like my grandparents. I rode it from San Francisco that year to go to see the races and cruise the beach, then rode back to Colorado a couple months later in May to work the summer building ski homes in Breckenridge. My hound dog rode along with me then. This picture was just after my getting back outside Boulder visiting friends up in Gold Hill.

damn! talk about putting my picture to shame! haha.  I haven't done 1/4th riding you have in your lifetime.  It is the Sunshine Skyway Bridge that goes over Tampa Bay.  I'm not going over that bridge with a passenger, the bike kinda kicked out of gear on the way up a much less inclined bridge that day lol.  How did you train your dog to ride like that?  My jack russel passed about a year ago, but he would've loved it, if I had taught him....thinking about getting another one soon

Welcome Zamm!  I've driven over that bridge in a motorhome.  Doubt you had vapor lock, that is rare with these bikes. Do you have an aftermarket fuel filter on the fuel line?

I got Cody when he was a couple months old, did daily training him myself from reading about how to train your dog all the necessary commands and then at 7 months made a seat for him as I needed to go from northern CA to NH and didn't want to leave him behind as we had bonded well. So I lifted him into hos seat and tied him in so he wouldn't jump out and we headed across the country for his bike training, lots of stops along the way so he could stretch his legs and have some fun with riding. After a few days had it down to one leash to hold him there loosely so he could get up and move a little more if he wanted. Took a week to get back to NH, then had a set of falls to go play in the water at for an hour. After that when we were leaving I told him OK you're a big boy now so hop up on my seat. He did it! Good boy! Now hop over into your seat. He did it, but sat backwards..... Hey Cody, good boy but you need to get up and turn around to face the other way. He did it! Good Boy!
From then on all I had to do was say are you ready to go? And he'd hop up and into his seat and sit faces the front. He was a smart guy. Jack Russells are too. Cody had 5 trips cross country and lots of local riding as he went everywhere with me on the bike, 35,000 miles in 3.5 yrs together before he got replaced on the seat by a girlfriend who became my wife.

I have to run a filter because my gas tank has some bits of rust, running an inline filter, not running the stock screen.  I assume I had vapor lock because when I popped the gas cap I could hear air pressure had built up in the tank..

VERY COOL! I didn't notice the make-shift seat you made him in the first pic! I'm definitely doing this with my next pup, except trading the girlfriend for the dog!  ;D Thanks for the idea!  I don't think I'll ever be one to do a ton of miles on a bike, but weekend trips I think will be my thing.

Suggest soaking the tank in evaporust to eliminate that issue.

I dont have a 350F but pretty sure it should have a vented gas cap, I'd look into that.
