The last Man Cup race of the season is only 30 days or so away. Curious as usual as to who might be going this year. If you are going will it be as a spectator or participant??

The current plan for me is to participate in street ET on the F3 and maybe run super eliminator on the new build. I had shifting issues at the last Cup race and wasn't able to back up my 10.35 pass to reset the record. I'll be pulling the engine off soon to do some inspection and likely drop in a freshly undercut transmission. I robbed myself of resetting my own record last time out and I don't intend to let it happen again.  Hoping for some 10.20s at this event.

Post a comment if you're thinking about showing up for the event next month..

I will see you guys there in all likelihood. It will be a little more difficult going forward. I need to be out of the condo the weekend before. My sister sold her house in Atlanta so I do not have that connection. I'm thinking of flying into Atlanta and taking a shuttle to my daughter's in Chattanooga then shuttling back to the ATL airport and picking up a rental car for the weekend. My sister is planning on being in ATL the week after so I may hang with them a few days into Thanksgiving then head to Colorado.

I looked it up, 2 days driving with my wife or one day by myself. L0L. We have the Klemme's group around here so everyone else races to see who can make the final against them.

Contemplating throwing the nitrous bottle in the new bike to run super eliminator.  Unfortunately I have to pull the motor off to drop in another transmission. If this one works as it should , I'm putting a mild tuneup in the bike and shooting for a 9 second time slip. High nines that is🤣

Which bike are you calling the new bike? Most recent build you documented for us here?
How many mph is between a 9.9 and a 9.0 run? How much hp would that take?

Good luck in your next round of racing and the work ahead to get there...

A number of racers stay at the LaQuinta in Valdosta, just 14 miles from the track. There are a number of less expensive hotels/motels at that same exit (exit 19 I believe) and there are a few hotels in Adel that's about 10 miles North of the track. I know Frank likes staying in Adel.

I think most of the hotels in Adele are booked. Try Super 8, Days Inn or Hampton Inn.  They may have cancelations. Adele is only 12 minutes from the track. That's one reason why we like staying there.

Nothing posted as far as I could see on their website or Facebook page.  Typically on Thursday they begin private test and tune and parking. On Friday morning they continue parking and begin private test and tune up until 4pm. At 5pm they begin 1st rounds of qualifying for the pro classes followed by sportsman and ET bikes. On Saturday morning around 9am they will do 1st round eliminations for the ET classes until about 11am. Then they'll begin pro qualifying again followed by sportsman.  The ET eliminations will continue afterwards until the next round of pro and sportsman qualifying.  1st round Sportsman eliminations will start Saturday  evening followed by ET.

Now this may change for the finals this year so keep checking their website and Facebook page.  I'll post something concrete whenever I see it myself.

Does anyone know if Mike and Keith are going to come??
