If you want to leave your existing fixtures in place, you can buy a retro kit to convert them to 4' t8 lamps. Then use a direct wire ballast bypass high lumen 4' t8 lamp. Or you could replace the whole fixture with a Lithonia 8' led strip, they make them in a standard or high lumen version.

I ran barrina t-8’s. Here is the part number

They’re like daylight at nighttime! I got enough for 4 rows, but only put in 3.

I must get these. I can't see as well with low light these days. I'm going to get the 4000k (daylight glow) instead of the 6500k. I much prefer the softer light.

I broke the rules and did my led swap wrong. Everyone (box included) said I would need T8 fixtures to put them in. I just put the led's in the T12 fixtures, they fit, I read that the difference is the bulb to reflector distance. I did remove the ballasts in my car trailer just to lessen the overall weight. Every 50 lbs. I can leave out makes it easier to drag up the big hills.
I can run one bulb per fixture now if I want to because they are parallel wired. My shop has some of every kind of lamp T8, T12, LED with ballast, led without ballast, new fixture led's, led screw in bulbs two, or 3 on a porcelain fixture. It makes a busy ceiling though.
No matter how many times you paint over a shadow, it's still there.
