CB750 PD41B Carb Fuel Line Size
« on: October 27, 2021, 07:03:05 AM »
Hi all, I’m still working on the ‘77 CB750 F2 and have pulled the carbs off to replace. I’d like to replace the rubber hosing (which contain the brass restrictors) between the carbs as the current ones are a bit stick and I’m sure near on 50 years later will have lose their integrity. However, I can’t seem to find the right sized ID and OD hosing after reviewing the forum. Does anybody know the correct ID/OD for a replacement hose.

Thanks in advance.

I have seen those, but it seems a little on the large side. The fuel line from the tank to carbs has an ID of 5.5mm, the line between the carbs is more like ID 2.5mm or similar.

Maybe the lines between the carbs have shrunk after all these years!

It appears to be 5.5 on a 76 but unavailable on a 77. that's odd.

Those are the accel pump crossover tubes and they are indeed smaller that the standard (5.5mm) fuel line. I'll do some checking to determine the correct size. The correct size is available in bulk (by the foot), you just have to harvest the restrictors from the old crossover hoses and reuse them. PM me to remind me if you don't hear back from me here in a couple days...  ;)

Thanks all, the correct replacement part is 16048393004 however this is long discontinued.

Appreciate you taking a look, will give you a gentle nudge if no updates ;)
