Well the thing is, the only head that is supposed to work on an F2, is from an F2, without some fairly difficult modifications. such as swapping to different pistons and/or severely modifying the combustion chamber and re-routing the oil drainback.  I am not sure I have ever heard of anyone doing this mod as far as performance, it should be a serious downgrade.  I have heard of many trying to run an F2 head on early K to gain the F2's benefit of considerable air flow potential with the bigger valves.  Beyond this, I cannot tell you much more.  You need to get the guys from the performance and racing forum to come check this out or move it over there.  I will certainly be following with interest as there is for sure a story behind this bike, even if it is only that, original owner erroneously swapped on early K head when the original started burning oil, realized it wasn't right, and parked the bike at 9000 miles.
If it works good, it looks good...

Interesting. I will get it back and take some clearer photos and some valve size measurements. The consensus here is in fact it is a K head or is it?

I was able to get better photos and found some identifying marks. The "77" mark would lend me to believe, that this is the stock F3 head,

F2 heads were black from the factory. They also have 4 oil drain back holes as opposed to 8 for the K

Here is photo of 1\2 of the head. Does this have 2 or 4 drain back holes?
