Terry wanted to see some better pics of the parts I lucked into. I thought a lot of us have something in the shop or on a bike we would like to show our friends here.
So, I'll go first since I can post a pic now.  I cleaned these up just a little, filled in the recess with a sharpie.

I'd bet that it makes a wonderful noise. I had one with a supertrapp muffler, a neighbor kid heard me go by and followed me home. Would not leave until I sold it to him. Later on, I bought it back so he could add to the down payment on his house.

A new pic. Marzochhi? 37mm and the stem is shorter than a cb750, by about an inch or so. I thought gl1000 to cb750 but nope. It's quite sturdy. The ones I saw on ebay are for dirt bikes, penton etc,

Race engine from my Rickman CR project. Haven’t opened it up yet, but full of goodies, including Carrillo rods......

nice

Unfortunately the side covers and main cases have been modified so much (lightened) that a starter motor can’t be installed. Otherwise, a softer cam may have been all I needed to use it. Still pondering.

I'm hoping mine just has a frost plug in the starter hole. We shall see.

Shaved Rotor, the po said it won't support electric start. I won't mind charging it after a ride.

The racers ground the two posts out that retain the back of the starter. I may try and make new ones to weld back......

I haven't looked for that yet. Thes carb rubbers came in the mail. UPP racing brand, not Sudco. I wonder if they're 3D printed? I already heard how nasty those pods are. I had them put on a kz that came with foam unipods on it, they rotted off on my way home.
I'd like to find a filter element and make a breadbox style housing.

So far so good. I haven't installed clamps yet but they snapped on the carbs and intake pretty well with no lube. Looking at the pic, the center two look wrong but I don't think they would go on any other way. They don't have the carb numbers cast in.
