keys by number- source
« on: November 18, 2021, 03:50:16 PM »
My friend that has the old school mom and pop bike shop bought all of the keys when the Honda dealership closed. Anyway he said he would try selling and mailing keys, if anyone needs one and wants to try it, I can post or PM the phone number. Mostly the T keys. I paid $15 today for one but picked it up.

That would be awesome. Is there a way to get one by the code in the ignition switch?

I think they just have the T keys, I get that look when I've asked about the newer type.

Dont think that is your key number, Kenny.  Some 550F key members are by the fork lock...

Do you have an aftermarket key? The OEM has the Honda wing and TEK on the plastic part of the key

Charlies cycle supply west jersey illinois 309-995-3319 Charlie said they haven't mailed keys before but are willing to. They offered to mail mine but I needed a visit.  Ask for Charlie or Debbie.
The Honda shops got 4 keys with every bike, 2 for the buyer and 2 to put in stock.

No dice on any other numbers. My key is a copy of the original, and I’m pretty sure the switch is from the 77K donor because this bike didn’t have a cylinder in the seat lock. No big deal, but it would be cool to find an actual Honda key for it some day. I dipped the top of my key in Plastidip a few times to give it some grip.

This guy assembled my sandcast from the crate when the original owner bought it new. He still has the diecast he assembled that day too.
