What size exhaust bolts do i need?  Pitch and length?  Studs ont work on 4 to 1 set up i have.  It has the mounting brackets over headers.  Thanks

69 to 76 exhaust clamps use  8x32 bolts if that is the question.

Studs won't work on 4 to 1 set up i have.  It has the mounting brackets over headers.   

So why will a bolt work where a stud won't?
I must not be understanding correctly.
