Topic: cb400f - Rotor/Flywheel puller bolt size

Does anyone know the thread size and pitch for the Rotor/Flywheel on a cb400f specifically?

edit: The thread size is M18x1.50.  I purchased a bolt for $5 at a local Metric Fastener speacialty store and it fits.  The oil filter bolt and rear axle bolt are not the same size.


note: for those who might not know, I recently learned that the Rotor for the 'alternator' in these bikes serves as a flywheel for the engine.

can anyone confirm this is the correct size of bolt please I have seen somewhere else listed as M16, is there any particular length required too. Will a normal bolt be ok or should I go for one of the hardened special tools sold.

I've also looked around quite abit, and i'm also interested to know what the threadsize is.

I think the 350F and 400F were the same.  That said, I believe a 16 is going to be too small.  The 350F/400F and 550K are definitely different.  The 550 is smaller.  I have a "real flywheel puller" that I got from Z1 I think and a bolt I got from the local hardware store for the 550.  I'd bet the 350F is 17 or 18 and probably 17.  It's only one size bigger than the bolt I bought for the 550.
