CB750 F2 ‘77 PD41B Slide Assembly Link Spring
« on: December 14, 2021, 07:47:13 AM »
I’ve been troubleshooting with my PD41B carbs  (poor idle with no choke and engine dying when initially opening throttle) and was reviewing my carbs again. I have noticed however that carb 2 appears to be missing the slide assembly link spring as shown in the attached. Should carb 2 have an assembly link spring (only as I’m convinced it’s missing) and if having no spring would cause any issues.?

Ones in order. Do you know what function the spring performs? My research so far has drawn a blank.

Good question.  I think it holds the link in place but it's been a while since I messed with a PD carb.
