Here another set I have, still in parts. As my K6 carbs.
See red arrow that show the alternative place for Idle screw my K2 use with K6 carbs.

It has also the typical jets for the model. Main 105.

I was sure the carbs have looked like this for long, covering older tank than K6 that also was used on US K5.

Yeah I spent a lot of time with the fuel lines on my bike as well. No fuel issues with that routing at any speed.
Here's the whole bike. Pretty much stock except for the Kerker.

I don't remember where I got those clamps. Maybe McMaster-Carr.
I probably got the tip from someone here on the forum.
They're marked NORMA 32-50 and they're stainless.

Nice looking bike....wow. Mine is a $100 hack job I bought from a guy that swore he drove it from NC to here in Georgia.

You'll never prove it by me. I just got in the mail a new set of Delkevic exhaust for mine. I have a Kerker wannabe on there now.
If it ain't raining, I'm riding.....~~{iii}?~~prost

If it sounds like I know what I'm talking about, it's because I cut and pasted from someone else.

Thanks, it was decently repainted and mostly intact when I got it. However, I discovered after the fact that it had thrown a chain sometime in its life and the cracked case had been repaired with JB weld.  This meant sourcing a replacement engine. So in the end it wasn't as good deal as I first thought.

I got stung like that, by none other than Vance & Hines! They had a 'spare' CB750 bottom end in their shed, much buried, when I met one of their pit crew when I was in Mason, IL on assignment in 2014, and he sold it to me as I was looking for a bottom end then. It had more than 1/2" of built-up goo over the JB Weld plug it had in it, and the chain had taken out the 6mm bolt and its threads (must have been a REAL hard start) for a hole big enough to fit 4 fingers thru. I don't think the guy even knew that...at least the oil pump, crank, rods, and mainshaft-clutch were good, but that was about it... :(
See SOHC4shop@gmail.com for info about the gadgets I make for these bikes.

Cycle Ranger: your setup is just like they came from Honda in this combination, and is just like I was trying to describe, great picture!

Those are nice-lookin' clamps! Do they fit right down inside the grooves on the hoses?

Thanks, replicating factory routing was what I was after.
Yes, the clamps fit quite nicely.

just ordered a pack of 10, less than 20 bux

Thanks to all for your thoughts and contributions here.
I was away for a couple weeks - came back, re-read the thread and figured out how to do it “best” given the parts I have on hand , including two new petcocks— one downdraft and one rear side draft.

I selected the downward petcock because it was not gonna get involved with the choke actuation.
I ordered some little 90degree copper elbows from Amazon.
I am using honda-like 5.5mm ID smooth/soft hose.
I cut the shortest possible piece of hose to connect the little copper elbow to the petcock drain tube. I ran out of the light/small brass clip-clamps… but the hose clamps will be fine where they are/not over tight.
Pics below show result without fuel tank.
Flow will be pretty darn level— I can’t see any reason why this wouldn’t work…
Functional result tbd

I recently restored and sold a 77 cb750f, and am nearly finished with a (former basket case) cb750k5.  This is a place to share, learn and enjoy.  I am grateful to and for 99+% of this site's membership.

Yes I saw what you had on the previous post and now I see again you have the same thing... lucky you. My carb actuation arm is different, as I explained and showed in photos the first time. On mine, the left side has the extra wide/thick section with the bolt hole. The right side doesn't. It's not like yours, where the sides are mirrored allowing you to choose where you put the throttle stop.
