Front Tire QQ (so confused)
« on: December 20, 2021, 01:03:13 PM »
Hi there, hope you are all doing well.

I am currently running 110/90-19 on a CB750K '78 front wheel.  I'm due for a fresh set and I'd like to put on the Avon's Roadrider Mkii (rear no problem, but the front....).  The size they have in "19 is referred to as 3.25-19.  On their website, its says that the rim recommended size is 2.15 with a minimum of 1.85, which is what I have on my front end.

The question: would it be okay to put this on?

either I'm not smart to figure it out or I already have the holiday brains turned on.

Thanks in advance

Yes, 3.25-19 is the size tire that would have come on the bike. Road Riders are excellent tires.

Thank you! This is exactly what I was hoping to validate.  Much appreciated.  Yes, great tires and the reviews are positive.

I put them on the front and rear of my '74 750 last year, they're great, but pricey.  3.25x19 front and 4.00x18 rear.

I think you'll find the 3.25 x 19 noticeably lighter steering, especially if you have lower bars.
