MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR 2022
« on: December 23, 2021, 09:29:08 AM »
Numerous other holidays in this season, but the true meaning of CHRISTMAS I wish to convey to all!

A look back at 2021 reminds me of the passing of well-known members and more than one of my relatives and friends. As we prepare for the new year, I will try my best to NOT break any more bones. My ankle is on the mend and places (routes) to continue riding my K3 along with off-road adventures on the RZR and HIMALAYAN are firming up, including a return trip to Alasaka.

Merry Christmas to all! I can confirm that Christmas morning has arrived in Oz, and even though I’m tapping this on my iphone in the dark, it looks like it’ll be a good one. We had our 19th annual family Christmas Eve BBQ (in this house) last night, there were over 20 people here ranging in ages from 7 to 89 (4 generations) and everyone had a great night.

I hope that everyone here has a Merry Christmas and a happy, safe 2022. ;D
I was feeling sorry for myself because I couldn't afford new bike boots, until I met a man with no legs.

So I said, "Hey mate, you haven't got any bike boots you don't need, do you?"

Merry Christmas Terry! Glad the dinner went well with all present.
Bill you gotta be nuts, I trust very few to ride any of my bikes...family even less so as none of them are riders.

Thanks guys, no, like David I wouldn't trust any of my wife's relatives (or mine, not that any were present, I only have a few and they're all interstate or live too far away) with any of my bikes, knowing how hard it is to find good parts to fix them again, if the inevitable happens.

No biggie, I agreed to fix my brother in law's ancient Suzuki RM125 which just has some crap in the carb (I've cleaned it before) and change the sparkplug on his motorised tricycle that I gave him for Christmas a few years ago after he lost his car license for DUI. The BBQ went well, everyone had plenty to eat and drink, so life is good, and I can rest again until this time next year. ;D

Do you have any Sister in laws that would be interested in starting to ride Terry, possibly a small bike of yours there kicking around like a CT70,etc.  :D

Ha ha, I've got one sister in law Bill, she's 70, and can hardly walk. I don't think she'll be taking up motorcycle riding any time soon...... ;D
