1976 cb 750f motor needed

I need a motor , hopefully without too many miles, to replace my current one that is frozen. Anyone that can help me find one? Thanks, Jim

There are guys on here you can repair your engine.
There are engines on ebay, they have been sitting for decades and condition is unknown (if you like to gamble).

Crud. I don’t really want to gamble on putting an engine in only to find out it doesn’t work. The process is pretty involved!

HondaMan does rebuilds and APE will if you can afford them.  Shipping is a challenge as many shipping is too rough on the motors and destroy the crate with damage to the motor. The best thing is get advice on building your crate for the motor and who to use for shipping from HondaMan…whether you use him or not…

Most likely, the piston rings have rusted to the cylinder.  Have you tried freeing it up?

Many of us have been successful at this using a "cocktail" of 50/50 ATF & Acetone.  Let it set in the cylinders a few days and then rock the bike in gear [if the motor is still in the bike]
