Yamiya

Hi Everyone,

Is anybody else having trouble contacting Yamiya in Japan? I've been emailing and using their contact form with a question since way before Christmas with no answer. In the past an answer to a question has been almost instant.

Many Japanese folks celebrate the New Year's holidays for a week or so after January 1st (called Oshogatsu).
My wife's native Japanese..and we celebrate every year BTW
Would guess that the restrictions around Covid in Japan have also affected Yamiya's schedule (although within Japan it's not quite as restrictive as in the U.S..but close).
As Kevin mentions..when they reopen..I'd guess that they will get back in contact with you Gary.  Yamiya folks have always been very conscientious..from my past experience..
Cheers..Al/Ichi

The Japanese as a rule I found to be a very polite society when I was in Tokyo and Yokohama area on business in the late 90s. 20-30 years have passed but, I doubt that has changed very much. Most Japanese businesses I have dealt with have been great.

They are back open now. I placed my usual monthly order with them 3 days ago and the order is on route with delivery this Friday.
Trust me I'm a Nurse, I promise it won't hurt....much
