RIP Betty Davis
« on: February 10, 2022, 07:28:34 AM »

Betty Davis died yesterday, and these photos featuring a CB750 are floating around. She was a pretty incredible figure -- as a young singer she fell in love with and married Miles Davis (and cut a record that didn't see the light of day until a few years ago). Then she went her own direction, becoming "The Queen of Funk" for a few years, with raunchy tunes and skimpy outfits. She never really made it big, and she mostly disappeared after a few years. Her records are great, and she was kind of rediscovered a few years ago.
