Carbs in pieces...

Disassembled the carbs today.
All steel parts will be zinkplated again and the carb bodies will be acid cleaned.
Should look good when assembled again....

that pic reminds me of the scene from "full metal jacket" where the dude's got the gun apart then starts slamming it back together all crazy fast...

can you give us a demonstration of that scene using your carbs  ;D

Hey did you get new plastic washers for the choke levers? When I cleaned my carbs I was afraid they might fall apart. Also, when you take the choke lever off, how do you not damage the thread? It looks as though it was peened to keep the nut on.
