IN the FAQ section there is some general info but I have yet to see a detailed chart as well.

I had to look on the "kawiforums" to find the specs for a 10mm banjo bolt.

The FAQ listed the specs for a regular or flanged 10mm but it's not the same as a 10mm banjo.

Hi guys, there are Torque values and general Torque recommendations in the Workshop manuals, you just have to hunt for them, usually under General Information.

Engine (CB750K0-K6)
Head nuts: 17.5 ft-lbs, 210 in-lbs.
Rod nuts and crankshaft (case) bolts: 14.5 ft-lbs.
6mm bolts on head and crankcases: 85-95 in-lbs.
6mm bolts on cam towers: 6-7 ft-lbs., add blue Loctite.
8mm bolts on back of crankcase: 14.5 ft-lbs.

Frame
Swingarm bolt: 40-45 ft-lbs., less if arm locks up or if bolt has been used many times.
Front axle caps: 14.5 ft-lbs., tighten flush side first, to rear.
Front axle bolt: 14.5 ft-lbs., make sure the bearings are neutral and not bound, else move their positions until axle spins freely.
Rear axle bolt: 20-30 ft-lbs: same rules about the baerings as the front axle.
Drive chain adjuster bolts: 10-14 ft-lbs.
Engine bolts 8mm: 14 ft-lbs. if used many times, 18-20 ft-lbs. if new.
Engine bolts 10mm: 20-25 ft-lbs.
Engine bolts 12mm: 25-30 ft-lbs.

(Did I miss any?)

NOTE: Someone pointed out I had the Head Nuts with the Crankcase, sorry: the head nuts are 210 in-lbs with normal studs and max 240 in-lbs with HD studs. 1/2020

After replacing the countershaft oiler o-ring, what should the countershaft oiler screws be torqued down to?

Thanks

The Honda Common Service Manual has "generic" torque specs for various sizes and kinds of fasteners.

If you mean the one in the center of the countershaft: turn it fully closed, then back it out 1.5 turns to start.

Does it mean you spend too much time here when you stumble across your own old post when looking for an answer?

So the screws that I'm talking about are these 4 that hold the countershaft bearing retainer on.

I ended up just tightening them down (they are countersunk and cant go in further) and riding a few hundred miles. But I got to thinking tonight while reading CB750 Motor rebuild... for dummies, should I of used loctite?

use some red loctite or fingernail polish on the threads and tighten the four counter sunk screws that hold the counter shaft bearing  good and snug then lightly stake them and you will be fine.

Not to hijack this thread but between the works shop manual, hondaman and the torque table mc rider posted I've found everything needed except the big bolt that holds the ac rotor on. Im sure its there somewhere but for the life of me cant see it. does it also need some sort of loctite? it seamed to have a spot of something that took the zinc coating off on the threads when I removed it.
Hope you dont mind me piggy backing your thread.

Its in the table i posted as "Generator Rotor Set Bolt". Pretty high at 57.9 - 65.2ft lbs.

Put it in 5th gear and stand oon the rear brake. Or run the rear brake adjuster nut up to where the brake is locked.

I just did mine. At that ft lb, I didn't put anything on it.

source Clymer manual. I think they miss printed the altornator rotor. I use a wrench and whack it with an 8lb hammer most of the time breaks right loose.

What about Cylinder studs? I can't seem to find the torque spec value for them.
