Question about compatibility of pipes for a CB550'76

Does anyone know whether or not the 4 into 4 pipes of a 78 CB550 will work on my CB550'76? I am new to these bikes and don't know exactly how parts work between years. Thanks for any help you can give me!

I've owned a sucession of 4-pipers and swapped systems around with no problems.
