Thank you very much for interesting reading Mike. ;)

The 2xCB750 has good looking left side with the typical alternator covers still there.
Front engine has a belt to rear engine crank, stock gearbox still there with stock front sprocket -drive chain- wheel?
"Std" clutch handle both engines?
If like that, lots of torque to handle for rear primary chains, prim hub, clutch and gearbox.

There isn't a lot of traction on the salt so it wouldn't abuse the driveline a lot until it got a wall of air in front of it. I'd think it would need a front fender/fork brace though. There were a few dragbikes built like that but the single clutch/trans did suffer.

I have never seen this bike. The NUGGET car show at the SCTA speedweek event has a custom 'wanna-be' bike on display each of the pat 2 years. NOT racers ;) ;)

I doubt if the bike will run, much less attain any speed. Cooking the battery and the oil is new to me ::) ::) ::)

Offered at the Mecum auction with no reserve. I wonder why. Interesting to see what bids it gets though. My money is on a 'No Sale'.

There's a guy on CX/GL 500 forums who has chased and achieved a LSR and he built a twin motor setup in one of his racers...

I'll take that bet, Eric.  It will sell as well his other 39 bikes offered at no reserve next week.

Apparently, you can't watch live anymore unless you register to bid.
