Syched carb and now no start

I syched carbs obviously while at operating temp  now I can’t get bike to run???  Timing  retard timing?  It seems likes it’s starving for fuel now  i set slides together with idle around 1000    Anyone holding the later model set up carbs   These round tops are kicking my ass no accelerator pump i know the newer set up   1974 motor

 A carb synch should not cause a no start issue. I'd check for spark and wet/dry plugs. I always ask, did you check the kill switch, because it's embarrassed more than one of us in the past.

I agree. If no electric issue is at play and plugs are not fouled, readjust the central idle knob, to an higher idle, before start. Which way to turn? The way where you feel resistance.

Get a can of "start ya bastard", also known as starting fluid. Spray a slight blip into each carb. Like just a slight spray. Try starting. If it starts for a second, you likely have a fueling issue. If not start, then there is a spark issue. If you don't like the idea of starting fluid, use some carb cleaner. Not as volatile, but can still do the job
