I run 6-8” of trail. Going around curves at speed is a breeze! I countershift my body weight at lower speeds to make due. Just build it the way you want it and learn how to ride it!

Oh wow! That seems a bit!Ike you said, I'll just learn how to ride it!
I'm curious, did you do a front end conversion (CBR, GSX-R, ect)? If so, do you use a stabilizer?
Yep, even the best handling bikes don't ride themselves.
Well there's bound to be a learning curve! I'll learn one way or the other!
It's a safe trail number, 115mm. Originally, my racebike was 88.75mm and I eventually destroyed it in what started as a tank slapper. Now at 99mm and all is well!
Sounds good! I might end up going with a 40mm fixed offset retro triple, instead of the 45mm, and it'll kick my trail to about 4.76" (120.9mm). I probably won't need a stabilizer at that point.
But then again I might just stick to 45mm. Good Lord, I just don't know which, hah! If the triples weren't $900 I would just get both!
